Joining Joe Pintauro as a festival dramaturg and educator is Sinan Unel, a Provincetown resident, who has won several prestigious playwriting awards and has had production of his plays done all over the world. Recently Sinan’s play, Pera Palas, was produced in London at The Gate Theatre and in New Haven at The Long Wharf Theatre. Sinan will teach a Master Class in, “Writing the Ten Minute Play”, on March 24th from 11-1 PM and serve as festival “Playwright and Dramaturg in Residence”.

Suzanne Bennett also joins PTC and Narrowland Arts Spring Playwright’s Festival staff. Suzanne is considered to be one of the leading experts on women in theatre in the United States. She is Artistic Associate for Women’s Project and Productions, an off Broadway theatre in its 24th season and the oldest and largest producing theatre for women in the U.S. At the Women’s Project, she also heads the Directors Forum, a program for early career directors. She is the editor and author of several resource books and articles on women in theatre and has directed theatre from coast to coast. Suzanne will be teaching a master class in: “Collaborations: Director and Playwright” on March 29th from 12-2:30 PM, and serve as a guest dramaturg.

Lynda Sturner, a professional actress, playwright, and theatre critic joins PTC’s spring festival staff by teaching, “Writing the Dramatic Monologue” on March 23 from 10-2PM. Priscilla is a playwright, screenwriter, and more recently was Director of External Affairs for The O’Neill Theatre Center, (home of the annual National Playwrights Conference and National Music Theatre Conference.)
