YARE (Youth Actors Research and Education) is a new program of the Provincetown Theatre Company (PTC). PTC has been in existence for 38 years, continuing Provincetown's magnificent record as a crucible of modern American theater through their development of new scripts, and providing educational resources to the community to assist theater artists in refining their craft. The PTC is committed to providing a yearround theater experience in Provincetown.

The YARE program is primarily funded by a matching grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council's (MCC) YouthReach Initiative, funding collaborative grants that integrate youth into the community through the arts. This is a matching grant. It's success depends on the financial as
well as energetic support of the community.

Donations are tax-deductible and will be used to finance travel to New York City and Boston, visiting other teen groups and attending professional productions.
