The Driskel Gallery at the Schoolhouse Center for Art & Design is
pleased to present the work of three contemporary photographers, Michael Lynch, John Marcy and George Perkins.

George Perkins' first exhibit of color photographs with theSchoolhouse last season was an outstanding popular and critical success. This year he will show a selection of images that highlight his intuitive and intelligent interplay of the artificial and the natural in art- through lighting, posing and composition, Perkins creates evocative, seductive little worlds the viewer finds impossible to resist: half-deflated balloons the day after a party float mysteriously in the early morning sunlight- a
young man sitting on a bed, his face in shadow, is caught in the act of either putting on or removing a sock-these photographs capture the rarest of ephemeral moments .
